On entering the resort I walked along a small path in the beautiful pine forest for almost 10 minutes before reaching the reception area. The noise of traffic sounded far away and we were surrounded by pine leaves and the sound of birds singing.
I had a bungalow right in front of the beach with a terrace opening up to the ocean and a large glass to a garden, which in fact surrounded the place.
At Sandy Beach, it was easy to connect with nature and oneself. If I woke up too late for yoga on the beach, the terrace was a good substitute. From there, the beach seemed within reach and the breeze from the garden carried with it the fragrance of some tropical blossoms.
In the morning sunlight streaming in through the glass doors and the song of birds in the garden woke me up. I had some surprising guests: baby crabs running along the sandy part of the garden, reaching the terrace. They looked at me with their big eyes and scampered everywhere, appearing and hiding again in their little holes.
The room was not very big, but cozy and comfortable with the décor and furniture in light, relaxing colors. From my bed, I could see the blue ocean with its busy waves.
After having a buffet breakfast under theshade of trees and flowers, I went for a walk along the beach andplanned a trip to Hoi An Town and other
nearby places.
The resort has a shuttle bus to Hoi An. After a trip to the town, we went to Non Nuoc to buy some handmade stone souvenirs.
Sandy Beach has 118 rooms, a swimmingpool, a pub, a spa with a steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi, meeting andbanqueting services, facilities for water sports like jet skiing, kayaking, and windsurfing, and yoga classes.
